PGA ( Polyglycolic acid ) is a braided synthetic absorbable mono or multifilament, made of Polyglycolic acid
and coated with N-Laurin and L-Lysine, which render the thread extremely soft and smooth and knots safe.
Wherever absorption is required, PGA is preferred absorbable suture material in use for ophthalmic surgery.
