Intra-stormal inlays are implants and often called Intracorneal Rings, Segments and were designed and
developed to be used as a correction for reducing or eliminating myopia of -0.5 to -8.0 diopters.
They are also used for the correction of keratoconus if properly implanted into the stroma of the cornea,
outside of the optic zone.

due to its 4.8mm. pupil zone.
Opposed to other intracorneal inlays, the optical zone of KERATACx™ is 6.2mm,
which tend to a slightly higher correction
